Marlena was born and raised in Maine. She earned her undergraduate degree in nursing from the University of Maine. She moved to Tampa in 2010 and went on to attend the University of Tampa for her Master’s degree in nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. She has previously worked at Eastern Maine Medical and Tampa General Hospital, with her primary training in Cardiothoracic post- acute care, Emergency Room/Trauma. She holds two national board certifications with the American Academy of Nurse Practitioner as an adult/geriatric nurse practitioner as well as a family nurse practitioner. She is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International- Honor Society of Nursing, and the National Academy of Dermatology Nurse Practitioners. She is a dedicated and goal oriented provider with a personal interest in orthopedic rehabilitation, women’s health, injectable aesthetics, and infertility. Marlena is a resource that patients can trust in leading them to understand about how their health and wellness can be improved. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband, and 2 dogs, also gardening, and reality TV.
